Are you an innovator? Try The Next Reality

I'm working with Barclays PLC on a UK FinTech competition. This gives you a chance to get virtual coaching from me and to possibly win a share of £5,000.

Barclays PLC has established itself at the forefront of development in financial technology (FinTech). Having invented the world’s first ATM, the UK’s first contactless card and Cheque Imaging, they have a long-standing reputation. Now they’re giving you (entrants interested in becoming a technology apprentice, intern or graduate - Uk residents aged 16+) the opportunity to be the innovator in their new competition The Next Reality .

All you have to do is visit the website and write up to 300 words describing your own FinTech idea. This can be related to one of six categories, including: Blockchain, AI, Cybersecurity, Big Data, Open Source and Cloud. After doing so, you’re in the running to win the chance to virtually hang out with fintech influencers (myself included) to develop your idea as part of a small group.

If you win the competition, you get a share of £5,000 and a 3 month membership for RISE London, where you can visit workshops and have the support of a network of FinTech experts and mentors to help further progress your ideas.

Entries close on 28th February 2018. Terms and conditions apply.
