Given that this course is clearly designed for those who do not have even an idea of what area of IT they wish to go into, it is very basic in the info it provides, i.e. basic overview of the the different areas, jobs within those areas, and responsibilities of jobs within those areas, and the tools/knowledge needed to perform the jobs in their respective areas. As such, it did the job it set out to do: inform those who are coming to the field of IT with virtually NO technical knowledge or understanding of the sub-fields within IT.
If you already have ANY experience within the field of IT, or if you took an introductory computer class in high school, or certainly college, then this class will probably end up being at least partially redundant for you. But again, it is designed to give a basic overview, and to that end, it is successful.
