How to Redeem Your Exam Voucher
To redeem your voucher, please follow these steps:
- Visit the CompTIA Login Page: Navigate to https://login.comptia.org/.
- Log in or Create an Account: Use your existing credentials to log in, or create a new account if you don’t already have one.
- Access the Exam Scheduling Section: Once logged in, go to the “Schedule your exam” section and click on "Schedule Now".
- Proceed with Exam Scheduling: Follow the steps to select your desired exam, location, and preferred date.
- Proceed to Checkout: When you reach the Cart area, click on "Proceed to checkout" to continue.
- Enter Payment and Billing Information: At the payment and billing step, locate the Voucher/Promotion Code field.
- Apply Your Voucher Code: Enter the voucher code (sent to you via email) into the field. The voucher will be applied immediately.
- Complete the Checkout Process: Review your details and complete the checkout process to finalize your exam registration.
Terms and Conditions
- Typically, vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Voucher expiration dates cannot be extended.
- Vouchers cannot be transferred to someone else.
- Vouchers are not refundable once received.
- Vouchers are exam specific and not interchangeable.
- Certification retirement dates supersede voucher expiration dates. In other words, if a certification is being retired and replaced (i.e. ITF+ being replaced by Tech+), you must take the exam prior to the certification retirement date. Vouchers for retired certifications are non-refundable and will be void after the retirement date.
- Please note that the CASP+ certification exam will be retired indefinitely as of June 17, 2025 and replaced with SecurityX. All CASP+ vouchers MUST BE USED before the retirement date as they will become invalid - they are non-refundable and cannot be used for the SecurityX exam. If you plan on writing your exam after the June 17, 2025 retirement date, be sure to purchase a SecurityX voucher instead.
- Please note that the PenTest+ PT0-002 exam retires on June 17, 2025 and will be replaced with PT0-003. PT0-002 vouchers must be used by June 17, 2025. They can not be used for the PT0-003 exam and can not be exchanged or refunded. If you plan to take the PenTest+ exam after the June 17 retirement date, please purchase a PT0-003 voucher.
- Please note that the A+ Core 1 220-1101 and A+ Core 2 220-1102 exams retire on September 25, 2025 and will be replaced with 220-1201 and 220-1202 respectively. 220-110X vouchers must be used by September 25, 2025. They cannot be used for the new 220-120X series exams and can not be exchanged or refunded. If you plan to write the CompTIA A+ exams after the September retirement date, please purchase the new 220-120X vouchers.
