Shon Gerber, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), is a CISSP Trainer and Cybersecurity Expert. He owns "Reduce Cyber Risk," providing cybersecurity insight and direction for businesses of all sizes.
Shon currently serves as the CISO for a global manufacturing company, handling diverse security challenges. He has also supervised a Security Operations Center for one of the largest privately held companies, protecting against global hacking threats.
As a Senior Security Architect, Shon worked for an IT service provider, delivering security consulting to medium and large businesses with various cybersecurity needs and regulatory requirements. He spent 11 years with the U.S. Air Force Red Team, conducting network and physical penetration testing for government and military installations.
Shon holds certifications including CISSP, GIAC Legal Issues in Information Technology & Security (GLEG), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE/MCSE Security), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Certified HIPAA Security Specialist (CHSS), and Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP).
